Bathrooms
There are different types of
bathrooms
depending on plumbing fixtures they have and location in the house. A room adjacent to or directly connected to a master bedroom is generally called master bath room. A shared room is a bath room outside of any bedroom and shared between two or more bedrooms. There is also a full bath room that contains as a minimum a toilet, a basin (sink) and a shower (see photo).
This room has a large mirror which makes the room bigger. A pivot shower door of 10 mm thick tempered safety glass with stainless steel hinges ensures a smooth door opening and cleanness. A master bath room usually has also a bathtub. From a bathroom remodel design standpoint, the bath tub and the shower are often combined in a single unit (see photo). In this case the bath tub should also have a pivot shower screen to protect from the splashing of water to the floor. The toilet should have a
bidet.
If the bath room has not enough space, a handheld fixture, like in photo, or
Biffy
bidet attached to the toilet can be used. There are also half (1/2) bathrooms that have only a toilet and a basin and are used mostly by visitors.
The design of a bath room must account for the use of both hot and cold water. Water may be splashed on the walls and the floor and hot humid air may cause condensation on cold surfaces. So, walls and floor materials and coverings should be impervious to water and readily and easily cleaned. The use of ceramic or glass, as well as smooth plastic materials, is common in the bath rooms for their ease of cleaning. Such surfaces are often cold to the touch, however, and so water-resistant bath mats or even bath rooms carpets may be used on the floor to make the room more comfortable. There is no generally need in special design of a bath room. The plumbing fixtures and its location are usually on the floor plan. So, you only have to select them by type, color and price. Nevertheless you can use a

Color is a key factor. So, it is suggested the bath room have light "cool" colors as a bath room is a wet room and water is the predominant element.
