Bidet

Bidet is used to wash and clean the external genitalia and the anus, and also the skin near these areas. It is very useful above all for people with hemorrhoids and suffering irritation in these areas, for women’s hygiene.

Why do you need to use them?
If you suffer from hemorrhoids or one of the manifestations of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) the relief provided by this fixture is obvious. You constantly have to keep clean some intimate areas and it is here that the abrasiveness of toilet paper becomes an issue.

A simple localized wash is much more comfortable. The bidet is a simple way to keep you cleans without having to jump into the shower or bath tub each time the toilet is used.

Hemorrhoids are very common in both men and women. About half of the population has hemorrhoids by age 50. Hemorrhoids are also common among pregnant women. Washing with water has been reported to relief the discomfort caused by this disease.

When you have diarrhea in addition to the intestinal distress, there exist an increase in irritation to the perineum from excessive frequent use of toilet paper. A gentle and adjustable water wash alleviates these problems.

Types of bidet
The conventional type is designed to be sat upon, and you sit on it the same way as on toilet. While sitting, you simply turn on the water. When the temperature is to your liking, you increase the pressure and direct a stream or spray of water towards those spots in need of cleansing.

But these types of bathroom fixtures are expensive and cannot be put usually in existing bathrooms. So, the other type is toilet seat attachments to existing toilets which most people can afford. Thanks to this simple device it is no longer for just the wealthy.

One of them are Biffy Biffy bidet Handheld bidet bidet (right photo), which is an attachment to the existing toilet that when not in use are hided along the rim.

The Biffy has quickly become the american standard for non-electric fixtures. Using a Biffy gets you cleaner than any stand alone fixture can. It gets you cleaner, faster and more conveniently than a shower or bath.

Another type of this fixture (left photo) is a Sanicare mini-shower which is hanged to the mounting bracket on the wall when not in use. It is a simplest type and can be installed by oneself without recurring to a plumber.
